When you click a booking button or ticket link on this site and complete a purchase on the partner platform, that partner pays us a percentage of the sale. This page exists so that you know exactly how that works before you click anything - the US Federal Trade Commission requires the disclosure, and we would publish it anyway.
Which partners sell the Colosseum tickets we link to
At the time of writing, one: Tiqets (Tiqets International B.V., Amsterdam), an authorized reseller of official Colosseum tickets, guided tours and the Rome Tourist Card. Every "Book" button, every product card and every availability widget on this site links to Tiqets with our partner identifier in the URL. If we add a partner, this page is updated the same day.
What the commission means for your ticket price
- You pay the same price as you would arriving at the partner site directly. The commission comes out of the partner's margin, never added on top of your ticket.
- The ticket is issued and supported by the partner, not by us. Confirmation, voucher, changes and refunds all run through Tiqets and the operator on the voucher.
- We never see your payment or personal order data. The partner identifier in the link tells them the click came from here; it tells us nothing about you.
How commissions do not shape our Colosseum recommendations
Partners have no say in what we write. They do not see pages before publication, do not choose which products appear or in what order, and do not pay for placement. Comparisons follow our research: where the plain entry ticket is the right buy, we say so even though a tour would pay more; where a product is not worth the money for a given reader, we say that too. Commission rates differ between products and we do not look at them when ranking options.
Independence from the Colosseum
This site is not the official Colosseum website and is not affiliated with the Parco archeologico del Colosseo or the Italian Ministry of Culture. The official ticket office is ticketing.colosseo.it. What this site sells through its partner are official Colosseum tickets - genuine admission to the monument, issued by the park's authorized channels - bundled with the services (audio guide, live guide, reserved inventory, flexible cancellation) that make the partner route worth its price for most visitors.
